Today's outing may not qualify as a "walk" but it did demonstrate some of the richness of Seattle. An appointment took me near South Lake Union so I used the opportunity to visit the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI). Walking south on Westlake, I watched a seaplane take off.

Proceeding across the Safeco Bridge (connecting communities and green spaces) ...

... I spotted the museum.

Looking south, I noted all of the new office buildings ...

... and, west of them. the Space Needle.

Inside the museum, it was the last day of an exhibit celebrating 25 years of Neddy Awards to Pacific Northwest artists. I was struck by this piece by Eirik Johnson, ...

... this one by Christopher Paul Jordan, ...

... and this one by Eric Elliott.

Because I had recently been to the museum, I didn't revisit any of the other exhibits (which are definitely worth a visit), but did admire the Rainier Beer sign, old Boeing planes, ...
... the old thunderboat, ...

... and some old local advertisement ideas.

My step count wasn't much more than three quarters of a mile but I enjoyed what I saw at every step.
