My husband and I were surprised by the amount of snow we encountered in Wedgwood this morning. The streets we walked were 168 feet higher in altitude than the street where we live and that made a huge difference in the accumulation of snow. (You can check the altitude of an address here .) We walked streets between 30th and 35th Avenues NE from 85th to 90th Street and had planned to walk much more but the snow forced us to go slowly and take short steps so we probably only walked about a mile. Other than the unusualness of having this much snow this early in the season, I have no new observations. We did pass one Little Free Library. It contained books about Boeing, Children's books, a Midwest travel guide, Manga books and a book of sermons as well as books on American government and childbirth.
