It was a beautiful day for a walk as I returned to the tidy View Ridge neighborhood to walk some streets I had missed on prior walks. I was treated to some nice views of the lake ...

.. and admired the few tall trees I passed. There are some lovely gardens but not too many trees probably because they would block the views.

Venturing into Sand Point Country Club, I was greeted by a sign that warned me of the possibility of being hit by errant golf balls.

On 70th Street, I was warned to slow down - but I wasn't driving and there was no way I could walk over 25 mph on these hills.

This 6 mile walk was quite hilly with lots of dead-end streets. It took me past View Ridge Pool (which was not very busy) and three Little Free Libraries. I could have gotten books about bicycling and backpacking around Puget Sound, getting organized, working at the Washington Post, Hindu teachings, reading Chinese characters, the growth of Islamic fundamentalism, Will Rogers, Mark Twain's humor, or books by Joe Biden or Dave Barry.
