Today's walk took me back to Olympic Hills where I admired this sculpture in front of the new Olympic Hills Elementary School. The accompanying plaque states: "This group is exploring ideas about sameness and difference. We all have similarities that make us strong together, and we all have unique qualities that make us shine as individuals."

Winding my way over to 15th, I noticed this staircase at 130th.

Near 130th and 19th, I spotted some impressive Katsura trees and a lovely sculpture made from the bark of a cedar tree.

Walking around the property, I peeked into the beautiful back yard.

Next I admired this lovely mural.

Not far away, on 15th, new housing has gone in and looks down on the back yards of some of the older homes on 17th.

On 125th, the Episcopal Church is gone and housing is going up in its place.

Just east of this construction, the Seattle Branch of Tensho Kotai Jingu Kyo (a relatively new, Japanese Dancing Religion) is still there and is still well maintained.

Just east of that establishment, design and permitting is going on for a new park in Lake City. It is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2025.

Along my 4 mile walk, I passed some modest homes, some beautiful gardens, a Pollinator Garden in progress, subdivided lots, North Seattle Church of Christ, Saint Matthew Catholic Church & School, Journey Christian Church, Bethel Ethiopian Church, businesses along 15th, and some entertaining yard art.

Canned goods and Children's books predominated in the one Little Free Pantry and two Little Free Libraries I spotted.
