This sunny day found my husband and me in the tidy Maple Leaf/Roosevelt neighborhood. We especially admired the Tudor homes, many of them brick. We walked streets between 5th Avenue and Roosevelt from 82nd to 88th. Each street seemed to have its own personality with the streets closer to Roosevelt and the park being quieter, tidier and more uniform. 5th Avenue had a few shops and restaurants, as did Roosevelt. We spotted signs of Spring ...... and Saint Catherine's Church and School.Along our 2.5 mile walk, we passed two Little Free Libraries. One contained children's books, novels, cookbooks and watercolor journals. The other contained novels, a book about neuroscience and books for cyclists and computer users.
