Still spotting moss everywhere, a friend and I walked through the Arboretum today.

Not much was blooming yet ...

... but my friend's sharp eyes detected this Edgeworthia Chrysantha "Nanjing Gold" (Gold-flowered Paper Bush).

We both noticed that the grounds seem a lot more tailored with stonework ...

... and some paths that we remembered as being dirt were now gravel or pavement.
We did notice other walkers, lots of grounds workers, a group doing yoga and this sign warning us that coyotes live here.

We spotted a chainlink fence with heart-shaped locks attached. Some had messages.

It was a lovely almost four mile walk and we shall return to admire the Spring blooms.
