Signs of Spring greeted me on my Saint Patrick's Day walk in Wedgwood. I walked streets between Ravenna and 32nd Avenues from NE 85th to 95th Street. Lots here are larger than those further south and quite a few large homes have replaced the the original modest ones or have filled in empty lots. I did notice at least three detached-additional-dwelling-units but new homes must have been added before the current trend of putting three to six homes on a lot. Given the number of large homes and basketball hoops, I hope lots of lids live here. There were quite a few apartments, condos and townhouses close to Ravenna,
No Irish flags today but lots of greenery ...

... even if trees are still being radically pruned to accommodate overhead wires.

I did spot signs of children in this hop scotch game ...

... and this unicorn. One of the two Little Free Libraries contained mostly children's books while the other contained novels and 'how to' books.

I admired murals on a garage door ...

... and on a raised planter bed.

At 92nd and 32nd, I came across this map of Little Art Galleries of Wedgwood ...

... next to this artwork.

My 5.5 mile walk took me all around Wedgwood Elementary School, home of the Mighty Marmots.
