Today was a three walk day, one with a friend recovering from hip replacement, one with my husband and a third which attempted to add a few streets I had not yet revisited.

The third walk took me into Lake City. On NE 123rd, I spotted a pumpkin which reminded me to vote. I have and I deposited my ballot in a drop box with no problems. I think there are more drop boxes than there were 12 years ago and postage is now paid if the ballot is mailed.

Proceeding down 33rd and then along 120th, I noted mostly multiplexes, some new, some older. The older ones seem to have saved many of the trees while the newer ones are denser and appear to have only saplings in the parking strips. Many of the newer ones have roof decks. Some have put in sidewalks.

In other places, the City seems to have created walking paths. I don't know if this counts as a sidewalk ...

... or if this does.

At Lake City Way, I turned south and walked a block dominated by a car dealership a fitness center and fast food establishments. LA Fitness was Mieko's, Denny's is gone but Wendy's now delivers using Wendy's APP, Doordash, Grubhub or Postmates!

Graffiti defaced a colorful mural.
I admired the Mini on the Mini building before turning onto 117th and passing a ravine with Thornton Creek running through. I also noted puddles in the streets with no sidewalks or curbs.

From 117th, I headed south on 34th passing Jane Addams Middle School and this great garden created and maintained by volunteers and students.
The school's Jaguar mascot is painted on the street.

At 110th, I noted students playing in the rain on the newly resurfaced playfield. Both Jane Addams' and Nathan Hale's playfields (across 110th) had the old shredded rubber surfaces replaced by a safer artificial turf.

Winding my way to Sand Point Way, I admired beautiful autumn colors and ...
... imaginative Halloween decorations before heading down Bartlett Avenue which looked more like an alley than an avenue.

Along Sand Point Way, I saw some large houses that had not been there 12 years ago.

This walk in the rain was about 4 miles and I did pass more people than I expected - only one was using an umbrella.
