Ravenna Park was lovely today as a friend and I walked its winding paths.
We admired the creek, ...
... the ferns, ...
... the moss and the rustic walkways.
We spoke with a friendly dog walker and admired her dog enjoying himself. We observed children playing in the playground and a jogger running stairs. We chatted and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
From plaques along the path, we read a poem by Robert Frost and one from Denise Levertov (which was inspired by the Ravenna Creek Daylighting Project). Our four mile walk was worth every step.
